Lensball photography

 This simple idea just popped up from somewhere so of course I had to try it out. I placed my Lensball on the table and set up my camera and flash so that the Lensball is between those two, slightly off-axis. Then I sprayed the Lensball lightly with water and pulled out my macro lens (which is a Sigma 70 mm) and started shooting. The results are quite amazing and achieved with minimal effort. Here are some of the shots I got:

















The only thing that needed moving was me with my camera. I only moved few millimeters or centimeters left, right, up or down and the difference was huge. Quick post edit in Affinity and that's it. Next time I plan to experiment more with the placing (and the angle) of the flash and whatever else.
